A CBD smoothie for a little extra self-care TLC

It’s been a month of shifting for us (expanding to NC, launching a CBD hemp farm, renovating a cabin for us to you know- live, all the things, etc.) where we’ve, maybe literally, hugged the recipes that hug us back. We’re talking recipes that help us learn more about our bodies and are easy and transform our daily habits into loving and beautiful self-care rituals. This BlueBerry Tart Zen Smoothie recipe is an SA cult favorite because it gets an A+ in both ‘easy’ and ‘transformational’ status. Smoothies are becoming the ultimate self-care potion for women these days, don’t you think? They’re quick and easy (on digestion for extra glow) and you can blend all your favorite things into, well, one ultimate favorite thing. Our anxiety-empowering full-spectrum hemp CBD Elixir is added to an already potent mix of skin-and-body-loving ingredients like Reishi Mushrooms, Wild blueberries, and body alkalinizing Hazelnut butter. It’s great as a post-workout recovery treat, an easy high vibrational breakfast, or even a dessert for a little well deserved ‘me time’.

SA Blueberry Tart CBD Smoothie

  • 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup organic blueberries, either bought frozen or freeze a batch
  • 1 serving of SA CBD Elixir *note you can add an additional dose of CBD that feels right for you
  • 1 scoop of vegan vanilla protein powder (we like Moon Juice’s new protein *update: it has a waitlist + and this one)
  • 2 tbsp. raw hazelnut butter  (we like to swirl + stir in some after we blend for extra goodness – as seen in the picture)
  • 1 tsp. Reishi mushroom powder via Om Mushrooms
  • add couple ice cubes *we prefer this* or 1/2 frozen banana
  • opt: edible flowers to top
